is first and foremost an innovative Serbian language school for children and teenagers. We encourage children’s creativity and curiosity.

The “Sava” school was founded in 2020 with the aim of promoting the identity of the Serbian diaspora and connecting them with their roots in the fatherland. Our vision is that every child of Serbian origin understands, reads and speaks the Serbian language and knows where their ancestors come from. The “Sava” school successfully combines the tradition and quality of Serbian education with the most innovative contemporary methods in education.

HERITAGE LANGUAGE
Knowledge of the heritage language has a positive effect on the child’s development: Children develop a sense of belonging to their fatherland, become culturally rooted, develop a more agile and sharper mind, broaden their horizons and gain a better and stronger emotional bond with the people who love them and live far away from them in Serbia. All of them get along very well with the students of the “Sava” school - grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, cousins... and these are precious moments.

Our summer school brings together children from different countries and gives them the opportunity to explore their culture and language through creative and interactive activities, gain more self-confidence and many new friends in the beautiful surroundings of a villa in Senjak, in the elementary school “Zvezdobrojci”.

Every year we offer students an unforgettable experience of spending time with their peers, being in nature and learning under the professional and responsible guidance of our teachers. During their stay at the camp, the children have the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the Serbian language, get to know the natural beauties of Serbia and experience togetherness. The friendships made in our camps know no boundaries!
